Have you ever taken a big risk and had it pay off more than you could have ever hoped? This wedding did exactly that for me. You see, I took this wedding knowing that my own wedding was a week later! That probably doesn't sound like a huge deal - most people go to work the week of their wedding - but it's a little different when you're a wedding photographer. It's full investment in somebody else's wedding day, starting with planning months prior, and pretty intensely planning in the few days leading up to it. I could go on an on - but the bottom line is, it's not easy to fully put yourself into another wedding when you're busy and stressed with your own wedding.

Lucky for me, Megan & Mike had one of the easiest and most wonderful weddings I've ever photographed! Their wedding was so great, it actually put me at ease thinking about my wedding. Everything just went so well! Their friends and family were warm and helpful, the flowers and the venue were stunning, and we had time to take all of the photos we had planned to take. Some of my favorite highlights include: Megan pulling up to Everly in Mike's dad's vintage Mustang and having a dress reveal with her bridesmaids, Mike's super sweet emotional reaction to seeing Megan walk down the aisle, and of course - the scrumptious donut favors at the end of the night!

This wedding was so full of love and so much fun to be a part of, but it wasn't just the wedding itself. Megan & Mike are two of the nicest, most kind people I have ever met. They actually reached out to me a few days later and offered their help if I needed anything for my wedding! Isn't that amazing? I love all of my couples, but these two are really something special, and I'm so excited to see where life takes them!
